My dear Betty
The young hockey player is sweet, & is a worthy member of the series. This idea is getting most satisfactory. We’ll soon have a complete set. The then we must see if there is any market for it.
Splendid about Wednesday. I’ll expect you the same time on the same bus unless you can catch an earlier one. The earlier the better, I’ll be in.
I’ve altered my room round a bit, made its slightly more attractive & cosy. You’ll see, & will, I hope, approve. One of these evenings we’ll scrounge a car & go to the cottage. That is cosy if you like. But then in the weeks, months & perhaps years which lay ahead (or lie ahead to be more precise) we can do all sorts of things, n’est ce pas. D’you like Vronsky ? I’m always charmed by his * manner. No more now, but a lot more on Wednesday – and later.
