Well, how are you after the
of Christmas ? No aches or pains I do hope. I’m very sorry I didn’t write for Christmas, but Thursday was one mad rush, with not one free 5 minutes. Anyhow we saw each other on Wednesday, and I WAS NOT TIGHT !!!
I am coming back for one day on Thursday or Friday & then shall go to Godalming, Cambridge or Yorkshire. As yet I’m undecided, I’ll let you know.
What did Father Christmas bring you ? He did me proud. Evening Dress scarf from the
, gloves from Mother (& a dressing gown) pyjama case, diary & oddments. No ties, no books, no cigar, D. G. !!
I’m dining chez Bashfords tonight, & driving down to Kettering on Sunday. Tuesday I’m going to Caledonian Market, nosing round the book stalls. That’s always fun.
I’ve a smashing idea for a Broadcast play, & no typewriter !! I’m pining for it already, after one & a half days.
Fare well & keep well. I’ll be seeing you very soon. Meanwhile think of me some times and all the very best for 1937.
